How are you out there, friends? It’s been a minute, yeah? Operating a nonprofit in the times of COVID has been a challenge, as group events are easily some of the most dangerous places for this virus to spread. That said, it will be awhile before we start classes again at any corrections facility out of respect and safety for our students and teachers.

Beverly has found an innovative way to stay connected with our students at ReMerge via Zoom classes a few times a week, but that’s the only facility where we have that opportunity.

We have supporters that have lost jobs and loved ones, are suffering from anxiety and depression, and there is also the ubiquitous isolation and loneliness. We wish you peace and resilience in these times.

We don’t know when, but we will be back. It may look different in the future, but we won’t stop working to improve the lives of as many as we can.
